We flew into Liberia, Costa Rica and our transfer took us to the RIU Guanacaste Resort in the Guanacaste province.

We really enjoyed the full day "Mega Combo Tour". The tour site was about 2,500 feet above sea level so we got a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. First, we went on a canopy tour, which had ten zip lines. After we went zip lining, we walked back up the forest to get to the 1,300 foot waterslide that was built into the hill. Next, we went horseback riding for 45 minutes and they took us to the spa in the middle of the forest! At the spa, we went to the steam room to open our pores and then put volcanic mud on our bodies. After it dried, we took a shower to wash it off and got to enjoy the mineral hot spring pools that varied in temperatures. When we were in the hot spring pools, we got to enjoy the Howler monkeys that climbed in the trees above us!

Costa Rica was beautiful. We hope to go back again sometime soon to enjoy even more of it!
